Ghanaian side Heart of Lions move home games to Hoehoe Sports Stadium

Kpando Hearts of Lions has declared the 10,000-seater Hohoe Sports Stadium as their new home venue for the 2023/24 football season.

At the beginning of the current season, Hearts of Lions initially opted for Sogakope WAFA Park as their home ground.

However, they have had to relocate due to the Akosombo Dam spillage impacting the Sogakope environment.

Henceforth, the team will be playing all their home games at the recently constructed Hohoe Sports Stadium.

Their upcoming match in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, which is on match week seven, will see Hearts of Lions hosting Karela United at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.

Currently, Hearts of Lions find themselves in the 15th position on the league table, having secured five points by the end of match week six.
