A former Head of the Department of Publishing Studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr Ralph Nyadu-Addo, says Ghana is well positioned to attract increased German investment, citing strong bilateral trust and ongoing collaboration between the two countries.

Dr Nyadu-Addo attributed this confidence to Ghana’s development trajectory and existing partnerships, urging public and private institutions to strengthen engagement with the German Embassy to identify new areas for collaboration.

Speaking in an interview in Accra on Friday, the German-trained academic and researcher said both the German government and business community hold Ghana in high regard as a reliable destination for investment. He encouraged Ghanaians to continue upholding values and practices that make the country attractive to international investors.

Dr Nyadu-Addo also reflected on his recent receipt of the Federal Order of Merit, awarded by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Ghana.

He expressed gratitude to the German government for the honour, describing it as a motivation to intensify his efforts to deepen development cooperation between Ghana and Germany.

He further commended the Government of Ghana and the leadership of KNUST for the support and opportunities that enabled him to lead several delegations to Germany, fostering mutual academic and business benefits.
