As groups in Ghana are no longer recognised in Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) as the ‘Group of the year’ category is suspended from the awards scheme, Flava and Fugees (FnF) has made a case for other groups in Ghana.
According to FnF, it is not entirely true that most groups in Ghana are not doing well that is why the VGMA scrapped off the category from the awards. “We are doing well that is why our works are recognised across the world” FnF stated.
The Ghanaian music duo, FnF has been nominated in the 7th edition of the prestigious Western Music Awards (WMA)organised by Westline Entertainment.
The Sekondi-born duo was nominated for the Group of the Year and Diaspora Artiste of the Year in this year’s edition of the WMA.
This is the 5th nomination the ‘Capital Town’ hitmakers have bagged in the year 2023 only.
The group was recently nominated for Best Video of the Year, Hiplife/Hiphop Song of the Year, and Hiplife/Hiphop Artist of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards USA.
