EKK Foundation Supports Breast Cancer Patient

The EKK Charity Foundation has supported a Breast Cancer Patient with a donation of GH¢10,000 to cover the hospital bills.

A42-year-old single parent, Mary Yankson, from Agona Kwanyako in the Agona Nsabaa District of the Central Region, has been battling with breast cancer for a year now and faces significant challenges in providing for the needs of her two children.

Mr. Evans Kofi Kwafo, the Founder of the foundation at the presentation of the money promised to offer support to cater for Yankson until she is fully recovered and discharged by the doctor and also to take care of the needs of the two children including their education.

According to him, the priority of the Organisation is to help find comfort for the poor and needy in the society.

Mr. Kwafo called on Ghanaians and other Civil Society Organisations to give back to the society, towards improving the standard of living of the less privileged.

Madam Mary Yankson also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the leadership, as well as the members of the foundation.

Madam Yaa Afriyie, mother of Yankson, also expressed her profound gratitude to Mr. Evans Kofi Kwafo and the foundation for the kind gesture.

She also pleaded with other NGO’s and individuals to come to the aid of her daughter and provide support for the bills and needs of her grandchildren.
