Preparations are almost complete at Ghana’s Consulate-General in Toronto, Canada for the official launch of ‘Diaspora Property Expo (DPE) Canada 2027 – Ghana@70 Edition’ on Friday, November 27, 2026 at 11:00am.
Set to come off under the patronage of the High Commissioner, Her Excellency Prof. Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, the programme will feature first-rate presentations from some of the leaders of Ghana’s real estate space and other relevant personalities who would all share insights into how to successfully navigate Ghana’s real estate landscape.
DPE is a real estate exhibition designed for Africans, especially Ghanaians in the Diaspora, to explore property ownership and investment opportunities back home. It was originally launched at the Marriott Hotel in Accra in November 2024.
After being out-doored at the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC in January 2025, the initial editions came off in Philadelphia in March 2025 and in Canada in May 2025.
The 2027 DPE will comprise two major editions: DPE Germany 2027 in March 2027 and DPE Canada 2027 from May 22 to May 23, 2027 in Toronto.
According to H.E. Prof. Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, DPE Canada 2027 forms an integral part of the Ghana@70 celebration in Canada.
Personalities scheduled to speak at the Canada launch include Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources; Dr. James Ato Orleans-Lindsay, President, Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) and Mr. Emmanuel Jeffrey, Acting CEO of Ghana Real Estate Agency Sector (REAC).
The event will be used to unveil the first 20 top Ghanaian exhibitors for the 2027 DPE. They include leading real estate developers, mortgage banks, financial service providers
and allied service providers in Ghana’s real estate value chain.
Prof. Edu-Buandoh has indicated that the High Commission is partnering organisers Diaspora Property Investment Ltd, Aim 2 Impact, Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd and other strategic partners to ensure only vetted and REAC-verified exhibitors are permitted to participate, in order to ensure 100% transparency and also to avoid fraudulent dealings in the process.
Mrs Lydia Donkor, DPE’s Communications Assistant has also said that the launch would unveil an innovative product called ‘Lead, Contract and Close in 2 days, Guaranteed.’
She explained that DPE had used the 2025 editions in Philadelphia and Toronto to gather real leads and real buyers with ready money waiting to buy.
Thus DPE 2027 would not be a talk shop but a serious market place where exhibitors would sign contracts on the spot.
According to the Exhibitions Coordinator of Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd, Jennifer Effah Sasu, the launch will also unveil the full roadmap to DPE 2027, including activities for Ghana Week in Toronto 2027 and the Ghana@70 Celebrations in Canada.
The event is organised by Canada-based Aim 2 Impact and Accra-based Diaspora
Property Investment Ltd and Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd in partnership with the
Ghana High Commission in Canada, Ministryof Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Works, Housing & Water Resources, Real Estate AgencyCouncil (REAC) and Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA)
‘DPE Canada 2027- Ghana@70 Edition’ is co-sponsored by Dover Company Ltd, Chiraq Multimedia Ltd and Signum Developers.
