Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was taken out of a New Jersey federal prison for medical treatment early Saturday after suffering a head injury, according to sources at the facility.
The music mogul was reportedly transported from FCI Fort Dix in an ambulance at about 1 a.m. His exact destination has not been confirmed, and it remains unclear how he sustained the injury.
Sources said Diddy was conscious and speaking when he returned to the prison before sunrise, suggesting the injury was not life-threatening.
The medical emergency comes amid a turbulent period for the rapper behind bars. He was reportedly placed in the prison’s special housing unit following claims that he had been enjoying privileges, including massages, alcohol and access to a cellphone containing nude photographs.
Diddy also reportedly got into a fight with another inmate in July. His prison release date has meanwhile been pushed back from January 2028 to March 2028.
