Church of Christ Ghana donates GH¢3.3 million to Heal KATH project

The Church of Christ-Ghana, has donated GH¢3.3 million to the Heal Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) project initiated by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, towards the renovation of the facility.

The donation forms part of the Church’s contributions to the health needs of the country.

Bro. Dr. Dan Owusu Asare Asiamah, a missionary of the Church of Christ-Ghana, who presented the cheque covering the amount to the Manhyia Palace, explained that the gesture is in support of the Asantehene’s initiative and to ensure that the premium hospital is conditioned to address the healthcare needs of the citizenry.

Bro. Dr. Owusu Asiamah also called on all religious bodies especially the Christian fraternity to emulate the Church of Christ Ghana and invest in various government health facilities especially the regional hospitals towards improving our health needs as a country.
