The Wa High Court yesterday sentenced serial killer, Sheriff Abdulai, aka Christos, aka Saani, to life imprisonment in hard labour.
The sentence is to be served at the Medium Security Prison, Nsawam, in the Eastern Region.
Sheriff Abdulai, 30, an ex-convict was arrested exactly 150 days ago, on October 6, 2025 at Wa-Dobile, by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr Christian Tetteh Yohuno’s constituted taskforce, which comprised elements from the Anti-Armed Robbery Unit (AARU) and the Police Intelligence Directorate (PID) backed by the local Police in Wa.
His apprehension followed the murder of yet another watchman, 55-year old Issah Yahaya, on Sunday September 21, 2025.
In the cause of interrogation, he confessed to murdering fifteen (15) persons, mainly watchmen and mentally derailed persons within the Wa municipality and beyond.
Sheriff further volunteered information on how he removed some vital organs of his victims, such as their tongue, lung, voice box and heart, which he roasted at the scene and consumed.
