Assemblyman receiving a certificate as Best coconut farmer

Mr. Kofi Adade, Assembly Member for Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti Region, and his Unit Committee members have mobilised resources to fill potholes in the community, along the Dadease-Akotosu stretch on the Effiduase-Kumawu road.

They bought gravel, sand, and bags of cement out of their own resources to fill the potholes on the road from Dadease Cemetery to Akotosu.

The Assembly Member noted that the gaping potholes posed a threat and danger to the lives of pedestrians from attempts by drivers to avoid them.

The Assembly Member, who is also a news reporter of Oyerepa FM, advised drivers to slow down whenever they traverse communities to avoid accidents.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture has adjudged Mr. Adade the Best Coconut Farmer of the Sekyere Kumawu District at the recent 37th Farmers Day celebration.
