Assembly provides medical equipment to Fenaso CHPS Compound

The Akrofuom District Assembly, on Thursday, handed over medical equipments and logistics to the Fenaso Nkwanta Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound constructed from the District Assembly Common Fund.

The facility is expected to serve the health needs of the people of Fenaso Nkwanta, Adamso and its environs.

It is part of efforts by the Assembly to promote quality healthcare in the district.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Maurice Jonas Woode, who presented medical equipment and logistics to the facility during a visit last week Thursday, urged staff posted to the health facility to make it operational immediately.

The staff was introduced to the community at a forum which was attended by the District Health Director, Mr. John Baffoe, officials of the District Health Directorate and the Assembly, Kingsley Obeng Nuamah, Assembly Member for Adamson Electoral Area, nananom, and the general public.
