AshantiGold Yaw Annor expresses readiness to play for Black Stars

Yaw Annor, in-form Ashantigold SC forward has exhibited his readiness for a Black Stars call up and added it will be a dream come true.

The 24 year old is currently in the form of his life, having netted four times in their 5-1 emphatic victory against Berekum Chelsea over the weekend in Obuasi. His incredible goal scoring form has seen him climbing to the second position on the top scoring chat with 16 goals, behind Kotoko’s Frank Etouga Mbella who has 18 goals after 27 matches.

In an interview on Kumasi-based Akoma FM, the ex- Fuenlabrada attacker said it has always been his dream to play for the Black Stars and has declared himself ready for a call up any moment from now.

“The dream of every player is to play for his national team. I am ready to play for the Black Stars now. I will not comment on those who think local players are not good enough for the Black Stars. When given the opportunity, I will prove those doubters wrong.”
