Akwamu Traditional Council’s ‘Royal Hiking for Life’ slated for Dec 26

The Akwamu Traditional Council has slated Boxing Day, December 26, this tear, as Royal Hiking for Life Day in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.

In fulfilment of his stated mission to promote tourism in Akwamu, Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III led an enthusiastic crowd on a hike through the Akwamu Conservation Forest Mountain trail on Saturday, November 12, as part of his weekend of thanksgiving.

Akwamu boasts of some of the most spectacular and safest tourism destinations in Ghana within a sector that is a major driver for economic growth in any community.

The Hike for Purpose: Hike for Life is the first of many such activities to encourage tourists to visit Akwamu.
