In an unexpected introduction at his birthday party at the Independence Square in Accra on October 18, Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale acknowledged Samini as a leader in the music industry.
While introducing Samini at the Shatta Fest, Shatta Wale indicated that new school artiste learned from his exploits on the international stage.
He indicated that Samini paved the way for the new school and needs to be celebrated for his role in making the industry better.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the person adey come introduce today is one of Ghana’s greatest legends. He is somebody who paved way for we all. Somebody wey start dey perform for America, Canada, Europe and he boost our spirit,” he said.
The two artistes performed their collaboration “Celebration” on the night.
