The tragic demise of our eight heroes in the helicopter crash on August 6, 2025 has made some so-called prophets to come out of their holes, making all sorts of noises just to be noticed and acclaimed as true servants of God, when in truth they are not.
It is very insensitive on their parts as things they have been saying about the crash do not console the bereaved families but rather deepen their wounds of loneliness and grief. In Ghana today, we have false prophets who delight in prophesying evil.
Catholic’s Cardinal Appiah Tuckson had this to say about prophets. “If a prophecy reveals the possibility of a disaster, your first duty is to intercede with God before announcing it. When God shared with Abraham, His intent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham pleaded for mercy… It is interesting when people advise others to listen only to credible prophets, but who defines credibility, and by what criteria? These are questions that need answers. In any case whenever prophecies occur and God makes His knowledge known to you, consider the content carefully. If it requires intervention, please do that before communicating it to anyone.”
These fake prophets, with so much pride and arrogance completely fail the test of the Spirit, with their pride and arrogance. They come out to claim authority even over God.
And since Satan can also make things happen, it is obvious that these fake prophets are from Satan’s camp, and would prophesy Satan’s evil plans, over this nation.
While Ghanaians are seriously praying for and consoling the bereaved families, another prophet walks into the arena and adds salt to the injuries of these families.
He is Dr. Prophet Abednego. He was on a talk show on 2MUCH GH hosted by Dark Gold. And in summary all he said exposed him as a prophet of Satan.
He said men of God should not yoke with politicians and that all politicians are of the world, they are heathen.
Politicians are leaders of the people and God can appoint such leaders. So, is this fake prophet saying that David who was a man after God’s Heart was demonic? Is he suggesting that all true Christians must dissociate themselves from politicians? If, yes, how can we stay in the country?
He portrayed a falsehood that only Christians will go to Heaven. With this he is rather leading souls from Christ, because Christ Himself said that on the way to Heaven, some people would be ahead of those who feel they are the chosen ones, (Matthew 21:31).
Dr. Prophet Abednego went on to say, H.E. J.A. Kufuor is a freemason and as such he is a child of Satan, since all freemasons are. So long as a freemason leads a life that pleases God, he will make it to Heaven. Some Christians believe that only Christians will make it to Heaven. This is not of God, it is of Satan who wants to create dispute, confusion and conflict among men, and make many souls enter into hell.
What Dr. Prophet Abednego said that made him reveal his true identity was when he claimed that he had powers to call the soul or spirit of the dead and he claimed he summoned the late Omane Boamah to the 2MUCH’s programme. He went on to say the late minister was half human and half demon. Is this man for real? How will the family of our late minister, especially his wife, children and mother feel about this? This is unpardonable and the authority should put him to book.
What does the Word of God say about people who communicate with spirits of the dead. In Deuteronomy 18: 9-10, God warns against anyone who practices divination, or is a soothsayer, augur, or sorcerer, or who casts spells, consults ghosts and spirits, or seeks oracles from the dead. In Leviticus 20:27, God spells out that any man or a woman who acts as a medium or clairvoyant shall be put to death. They shall be stoned to death; their bloodguilt is upon them.
While God does not approve of these acts, Dr. Prophet Abednego feels so proud on television to tell the whole world that he is a medium and summoned the spirit of the late Omane Boamah and spoke with him and passed on his message to Ghanaians. And in all this he loudly proclaimed that he is a true man of God.
This cannot be possible. Reading the Word of God and accessing his conduct, one can but only conclude that Dr. Prophet Abednego is a prophet of the dark world. He certainly is not a man of God. He is a sorcerer and a medium, engages in divination and witchcraft. I never said so, he did, admitting he does things God abhors.
God warned in Deuteronomy 18: 20 that “But if a prophet presumes to speak a word in My Name that I have not commanded, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.” And Dr. Prophet Abednego speaks not in God’s Name!
It is about time, that all heads of the true Christian churches embark on spiritual exercises, where they should invoke the Holy Spirit to get rid off all these prophets of Satan, parading themselves as people of Christ.
