Takoradi-Amanful chief, Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essoun III, is a development oriented chief looking at the speed he is spreading development projects across his traditional area.
After funding the construction of a borehole project to serve the people of Amanful, Nana has fulfilled another promise he personally made to construct boreholes in all communities under his traditional area.
At the weekend, four boreholes were commissioned on behalf of Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essoun III to serve four areas under his traditional jurisdiction.
The areas are Police Central Reserve, Central Police Station, the New Market and the last one behind the SSNIT building.
Obaahema Effiekesim Mansa IV, Queen mother of Amanful commissioned the four boreholes on behalf of Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essoun III.
Amanor Abbas Teteh, a member of the royal Ebiradze Family, explaining the rationale behind the project said, it was no doubt access to water in Takoradi was challenging. As a result, Nana Oboo Atta Kojo Essoun saw it befitting to construct boreholes in every traditional area under his jurisdiction.
This project, he explained, was the seventh developmental project the chief had undertaken since his instalment in January, 2025.
