Government has made updates to its newly launched Performance Tracker, a platform aimed at increasing transparency and accountability in the delivery of infrastructure projects across the country.
Launched earlier this week, the tracker, which initially included some 13,000 project entries across all 16 regions of the country, has been updated with an additional 74 projects, which had been previously omitted.
A tweet a from the official handle of the tracker database on social network site X, said continuous updates will be made in the coming months, now that the platform has gone live.
This update comes in response to public feedback received after the launch.
“Our attention has been drawn to some 74 projects which should have been included, as they had been concluded by June 2023. These have now been included to the platform,” the statement said.
The statement expressed appreciation for the public’s feedback and pledged to provide accurate projects information to ensure transparency.
It assured the public of continuous updates to ensure it provides an up-to-date record of project progress.
This, the statement encouraged citizens to continue engaging with the Performance Tracker, reporting any discrepancies or omissions they may identify.
