The embattled Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, has broken her silence over the public discourse on the huge amounts of money kept at her residence.
The court has been invited to try a case of alleged theft filed by the Minister and her husband against their househelps, who were accused of stealing over one million dollars and other valuables.
A statement dated Friday, July 21, 2023, did not deny the news but punched holes by saying that “there are noticeable inconsistencies” between publication discussions and the “thrust of the original complaint on the matter.”
However, the statement did not provide any further details but served notice for “a detailed response in the coming days.”
