Youth advised to venture into agriculture

Okofrobour Obeng Nuako III, Dunkwahene, has advised Ghanaian youth against relying on the government to provide jobs, hinting that the agricultural sector is worth pursuing to eke out a decent livelihood.

He advised  the citizenry at the observation of the first “Akwasidae” last Sunday to desist from misappropriation of funds at their workplaces, with the intention of sabotaging their employers, which often leads to the collapse of various enterprises.

The Dunkwahene urged the youth to refrain from social vices like smoking and drug abuse among others, and rather direct their efforts to available ventures. .

Okofrobour Obeng Nuako III called on President John Dramani Mahama to prioritise the development of Dunkwa-On-Offin enclave, adding that his community has vast land for investors, who want to establish businesses and contribute to economic growth.

The chiefs also urged government officials and appointees to prioritise the “Ghana First” mantra in executing their mandate towards the development of the nation.
