A major component of the investment involves addressing agricultural challenges in northern Ghana, particularly related to inconsistent rainfall.

By implementing advanced irrigation techniques and farming practices from Turkey, the initiative aims to boost food production and reduce reliance on imports.

The emphasis will be on sustainable practices, including organic farming and efficient crop cultivation.

Dr. Zerrin Gelik, a member of the Turkish team and a gynecologist, said the visit has dual objectives to share extensive experience from Turkey’s advanced healthcare sector and to explore business opportunities with a local partner.

The partnership hopes to establish a new health facility and provide comprehensive education and training for local staff to elevate healthcare standards in Ghana.

Dr. Gelik added that the team is committed to seeing it through and to ensure that healthcare operations and staff training meet global standards.
