Mr Joseph Bukari Nikpe, the Minister for Transport, has commended J.A. Plant Pool Ghana Limited for investing and expanding its operations in Ghana.
The commendation was contained in a speech read on his behalf by Mr Daniel Essel, Head, Road Transport Services, during the unveiling of the Soueast SUV Range by the company.
He stated that the company’s investment in innovation, sustainability, and national development was commendable.
“Launching a new vehicle line is not just a business decision; it is an investment in people, in infrastructure, and in national growth,” he added.
Dr Alex Atakorah, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Technical and Logistics Cluster at J. A. Plant, emphasised that the event was not just a launch but rather a full immersion into the Soueast way of driving.
He said they were helping to shape the future of transport in Ghana, where roads are smarter, air is cleaner, and journeys are more empowered.
He also indicated that the event also aligns with Ghana’s Automotive Development Policy and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting cleaner mobility solutions for the nation’s future.
Dr Atakorah said his outfit reaffirms its position as a trusted industry leader and a key contributor to Ghana’s transport transformation.
The launch also ushered in the start of the ‘Soueast Experience Week’, which offers Ghanaians the opportunity to test drive all models, engage with technical experts, access flexible financing, and enjoy special launch offers.
The Soueast range includes the friendly S06DM, the spacious family-style S07, and the flagship luxury S09.
With a blend of sleek design, fuel efficiency, advanced safety features, and hybrid technology, the Soueast lineup responds to the growing demand for smarter, eco-conscious, and budget-friendly vehicles in Ghana.
