Kuami Eugene has appreciated the church for contributing to his artistry as a musician.
According to the highlife musician, he nurtured his music talent by learning how to play musical instruments while growing up in church.
“The church made me, I learnt everything I know from the church. When I was young, I knew I would become a very great musician. So I told myself I should prepare so well before I got to the top. So I prepared a lot so I can play every musical instrument that I lay my hands on. No one taught me how to play the piano, I just started playing because I had been around it for a long time,” he told Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z.
Kuami added that apart from the piano, he plays the trumpet, drums and the guitar.
To add value to his performance, Kuami indicated that he learnt how to do the back flip.
The ‘Angela’ hit maker further opened up about how he has been able to hone his skill in music production by taking a course in music production.
