The Omanhene of Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Atwenewaah Ampem I, has highly commended Alhaji Collins Dauda, Member of Parliament for Asutifi South, for his singular efforts and contributions towards the establishment of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College at Tepa in the Ahafo Ano North Municipality.
According to the Chief, the Asutifi parliamentarian single-handedly built a 600-capacity hostel and a three-unit classroom for the students at Tepa.
The Tepamanhene has, therefore, called for the support of all stakeholders to complement the efforts the Asutifi South Lawmaker for the further development of the institution.
Nana Adusei Atwenewaah Ampem believes that assistance from the members of the general public and corporate organisations would go a long way to help address the infrastructural challenges.
The Paramount Chief urged management of public schools to be accountable and transparent in managing development levies from students to address infrastructural deficits.
The Tepamanhene also appealed to the Scholarship Secretariat to assist students to access funding under the scholarship scheme to alleviate the burden of paying fees.
Alhaji Collins Dauda expressed his readiness to support the development and expansion agenda of the school.
He entreated the students to take their studies serious to ensure that they passed through successful to fit in the job market to secure their future.
He expressed his profound gratitude to Nana Adusei Atwenewaah Ampem for the recognition of his contributions.
