Two new episodes of Taylor Swift’s “End of an Era” docuseries are here.
The first two episodes of the doc, which premiered on Disney+ last week, covered the planning of the Eras Tour and picked back up when the tour reached London, England, in the aftermath of a foiled terror plot that forced Swift to cancel Eras Tour shows in Vienna. Episode 2 focused on adding “The Tortured Poets Department” into the tour’s setlist and shined a spotlight on a few of the tour’s dancers.
In the latest episodes, the pop star discusses her breakups with Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy.
“I went through two breakups in the first half of this tour and that’s a lot of breakups, actually,” Swift said on episode four of her Disney+ docuseries.
She noted that the show gave her “purpose” and helped her “get out of bed” despite the “s–t that was going on.”
“Men will let you down. The Eras Tour never will,” Swift added.
She briefly touched upon politics and said she hoped she could provide her fans “an escape” from what’s going on in the world.
“Like nothing could ever or should ever bother any of us, and nothing will for three and a half hours,” she said.
I’m glad that I will have given just 100% girlhood and hope and belief and sweat and effort, because that’s the job,” she continued.
She also showed her strenuous workout including pull ups which helps her release “rage and resentment.”
Sombr received the “sweetest” gifts from Taylor Swift that made him cry tears of joy.
The Grammy-nominated singer detailed his experience with the pop star on Owen Thiele’s “In Your Dreams” podcast Friday, revealing that Swift gifted him a heartfelt letter and a necklace.
Sombr, born Shane Boose, shared that his rapport with Swift all started when he heard a podcast clip of Swift mentioning him and Tate McRae as her “favorite new artists.”
Shocked by what he heard, he originally “thought it was AI” and was like, “No f—king way.” Even though he was hesitant, Sombr decided to send Swift a “digital message” thanking her for her kind words in case the clip was real.
