The constituents were screened for ailments including; diabetes, blood pressure, sexually transmitted diseases, typhoid and breast cancer, among others.

The exercise forms part of the nationwide coverage initiated by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, for emulation by all Parliamentary Candidates.

Dr. Philip Gyimah led the Medic Aid United, NPP medical team, to conduct the screening which covered about 2,000 constituents.

The exercise will continue next month at the St. Cyprians Anglican Church, Anloga and Amankwatia.

Lawyer Obiri Yeboah was hopeful that the electorate would be in good health before the elections in December.

The PC distributed branded T-Shirts to the constituents and hoped they would turn out in their numbers to vote during the elections and to ensure that the NPP wins 85 percent of votes in the Ashanti region.
