Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie have provided explanation as to why his albums, ‘Jamz’ and ‘No Pressure’ disappeared from a number of digital streaming platforms in recent days as fans have noticed.
The rapper has turned to social media to explain why the albums had momentarily “disappeared” from streaming services, despite rumors that he had sold off his catalogue.
In an Instagram live session on September 1, 2025, Sarkodie said the albums were momentarily unavailable because he and his team worked on transferring his music to a new distribution partner.
“So what is happening is we are doing a re-upload with a new distribution channel. We have a new partnership that we have to…but it was supposed to be very smooth, but that couldn’t happen.
“So now we took down, now we have to re-upload. So I think it was actually supposed to go back today, but let’s see if not, maybe midnight or… I’m really pushing the team to get it back on. So don’t worry guys,” Sarkodie said.
He clarified that the temporary disappearance of the albums was due to what should have been a seamless transition between two distribution channels.
