Hundreds of music lovers trooped to the Leshrine Executive Beach Club, at Laboma Beach Resort in Accra, for the celebration of Reggae music presenter, Black Santino’s birthday, which was graced my multiple award winning Reggae and Dancehall artistes, including Samini.
As the headliner for the night’s event, Samini delivered a spectacular live band music performance, with the appropriate volume levels and great dance moves.
He treated patrons of the show to an electrifying performance by singing his hit songs like ‘Linda’, ‘Gyai Shi’, ‘My own’, ‘Obra’ and many others, which kept fans on their feet for hours unend.
The event also marked the 2nd anniversary of Yard and Foryn radio, an Accra based radio station and the official launch of the Wednesday Reggae Night with Black Santino.
Samini, known in real life as Emmanuel Andrews Sammini recently took to his Instagram page to announce his comeback after taking a music break to pursue his academic career at GIMPA, a decision he said he made to make his mother proud and also inspire others.
In an Instagram post, Black Santino expressed his gratitude to the Music legend for gracing the show.
According to him, he has always wanted to organise a show with Samini on it, but it never happened. “That is where God came in,” he added.
Black Santino, real name Nii Ayitey Okine, further stated that with his birthday and the 2nd anniversary of the Yard and Foryn Radio coming up, he decided to organise a show in collaboration with Leshrine Executive Beach Club, with the Music Legend.
“I approached the rain god again to honor my event and trust me it was effortless. He assured me he will do it and gave me a number to contact and boom, it’s on,” he said.
The Reggae music presenter added that “Jah was preparing a better day and time for this to happen. I am supper honored to have the great Samini headline my show that is all about me.
The event was also graced by Ras Kuuku.
