Contemporary Ghanaian Christian music Singer and Songwriter, Ruthie Boat is out with her 8th single titled ‘Sing.’
‘Sing’ is the live rendition of an original song released in March, 2022 featuring Akesse Brempong.
“The song is basically a summary of Psalm 23. It talks about the realities of walking through the valley of the shadow of death which we all do in certain times of our lives. ‘Sing’ is a song that serves the reminder that through difficult times, our praise must still go to Jehovah,” Ruthie Boat noted.
“I got inspired to write ‘Sing’ after a sermon at church. A sermon that reminded me like David in the Bible; that the ability to make music and sing was a gift from God to take me through trying times without losing strength.”
“Whilst meditating, I picked up my guitar and began to strum a melody and that’s how the song was born. Sharing the song is sharing my story of faith and documenting a word of encouragement to everyone who listens to it in trying times too. Just sing, sing your way through every tough season, knowing it will work in the end for your good” Ruthie Boat told The Chronicle.
“I am also set to release my debut album by the same title – Single” Ruthie Boat revealed.
Real name, Ruth Boateng, the sensational songstress says the single is to give fans a taste of what the album has to offer.
The song is currently on all streaming platforms.
Aside music, Ruthie Boat is an administrator for a Non-Governmental Organisation that advocates for persons with special needs. She is also a Praise and Worship leader at the Christ’s Oasis Ministries, Accra.
