Relegation trodden Tamale City failed to rise to the occasion by flip-bouncing their opponent as they were held to a 0-0 tie by Medeama at their favorite Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Both clubs dished out a brilliant display as they were being weary of each other’s threat with the Citizens choking on the opportunity to dashed out of the relegation zone.
Although the match was barren in both halves, with both clubs unleashing unfruitful venom, it was the home side that went into the game strongly after recess but failed to get a goal.
Medeama held them at bay till the game ended. The draw stalemate pegged Tamale City to the seventeenth spot of the log on 16 points whilst Medeama improved to seventh with 24 points.
