A police operation has been sparked at a school in the German city of Hamburg after two armed youths reportedly threatened a teacher with a gun before fleeing the scene.
Police blocked roads in the Blankenese area and sent armed officers inside the school.
Some students had to be evacuated, police said, and were taken to a nearby barracks.
No injuries have been reported.
Posting on social media at 11:25 local time (10:25 GMT) police said: “There are currently indications of a threat situation at the Blankenese district school. Police forces are already on site and are taking initial measures.”
An update nearly four hours later said armed officers had completed their search of the school.
A spokesman at the scene separately said that police had responded to reports that the pair showed a firearm or threatened a teacher with it.
The two are then reported to have left the classroom and fled.
Local media said it was still unclear whether the suspects were students of the school.
