President commissions Magistrate Court at Toase

President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo on Monday commissioned a Magistrate Court at Toase, in the Atwima Mponua Municipality in the Ashanti region.

He said the edifice is in line with his government’s determination to ensure that the justice system is improved.He noted that the agenda for rule of law is on course, hence the government is making every effort towards the implementation of law and order in all jurisdictions.

The president commended the Chief Justice (CJ), Akwasi AninYeboah, for a yeoman’s job done, since he assumed the highest office of law.

He stressed that the Chief Justice is doing well, but except that those who lose cases at the court accuse him of being incompetent.

Nana Akufo-Addo encouraged the CJ to keep up the good work to ensure justice for every Ghanaian.

Nana Ayim Awire Ababio, the Chief of Toase, expressed his profound gratitude for the level of development in his jurisdiction and commended the President for the flagship programmes that are helping the poor in the society, which he said includes the Free Senior High School, Planting for Food and Jobs and No Guarantor policy for students’ loans at the Tertiary institutions.

The chief stated that the gesture would give students a huge sigh of relief following the struggle to enter the various tertiary institutions in the country previously.
