Prefos Limited rewards 20 dedicated workers

Twenty workers of Prefos Limited, drawn from the Northern and Southern regions of Ghana, have received awards for excelling in their areas of operation.

The awards ceremony formed part of activities to mark the 34th anniversary of the founding of Prefos Limited, an electrical engineering company.

The awardees took home cash prizes ranging between GH¢40,000 and GH¢60,000 and Television sets and refrigerators.

The Project Engineer, Mr. Lenam, won the CEO’s Special award and received GH¢60,000 as his prize.

Other award winners included: Ama Pokuaa (Best administrative officer) who received GH¢50,000; Martin Owusu and Azuma as best electrician and best driver who received GHc40,000 each.

From the Northern sector, Mandella Osei emerged the best administrative officer to win GH¢50,000 cash prize, with Yaw Adjei and Robert Abass taking GH¢40,000 each, as the best electrician and best driver respectively for 2024.

The CEO of the Prefos Limited, Mr. Alexie Fosu congratulated the award winners and urged them to work harder to ensure the growth of the company.

Meanwhile, the management of Prefos Limited has donated a number of items to the Children’s ward of the Juaben Government Hospital.These included baby foods, detergents, diapers and toiletries.

Mr. Thomas Dwomoh, a Director of the Prefos Electrical Training Centre presented the items to the hospital, on behalf of the company.

Lydia Asenso, Nurse Manager of the hospital, who received the donation on behalf of the hospital, expressed appreciation for the gesture and appealed to other institutions to come to their aid.

She said the female ward lacked adequate beds, mattresses and drip stands among others, and called for assistance.

Madam Asenso indicated that the hospital was erecting a fence wall around its premises from its IGF and appealed for support from the government and general public to help equip the Intensive Care Unit and the Mother and Baby unit.
