Potable water for the community commissioned for Nyinahin

The Board of Directors of the Nyinahin Water and Sanitation project has commissioned and handed over a water project to residents in the community.

The project is expected to provide potable water for the residents and prevent an outbreak of communicable diseases as a result of lack of wholesome drinking water in the community.

Mr. Gabriel Nyame, Board Chairman and Chief Accountant at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, explained that water was life, and urged policymakers to ensure that people were provided with quality drinking water to improve their health status.

He assured the audience of the commitment of the Nyinahin Water and Sanitation project to ensure improved living standards of the people.

Nana Oti Bodua Nyinahin Akwamuhene, who represented Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II, Nyinahinhene, commended the Board for the good work done.

Mr. Kwabena Kakari, Assembly Member for Nyinahin junction Electoral Area, and the residents expressed their appreciation to the Board for providing them with potable water to improve their health.
