Passengers, Thursday ran for their dear lives when a fire broke out at the terminal of the E-Arrival Finger of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos.
DAILY POST gathered that the fire outbreak led to a power outage at the airport.
Eyewitnesses said the incident caused panic among workers and passengers at the airport as travellers hastily left the place which was engulfed by smoke for the departure hall.
However, normal operations have started at the terminal as firefighters have put out the fire. Murtala Muhammed International Airport is an international airport located in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria, and is the major airport serving the entire state. The airport was initially built during World War II and is named after Murtala Muhammed, the fourth military ruler of Nigeria.
