Paris Hilton has revealed intimate footage of Carter Reum’s February proposal just days after they’ve said “I Do.”
“I grew up reading fairytales and dreaming of my ‘happily ever after’,” the socialite, 40, wrote alongside the video. “Now that I’ve finally found mine, I can’t wait to share it with you for the rest of our lives.”
In the clip both Hilton and the venture capitalist, also 40, are dressed in all white as they walk down to a cabana on the beach that reads “marry me” across the top.
Reum then gets down on one knee and tells Hilton, “From that first day we started texting there were so many magical lightning bolts and over the last 14 months you’ve let me into your world, you’ve let me realize who the real Paris is. Kind, authentic, smart, playful and fun.”
The “Stars are Blind” singer appears to get emotional as the proposal, filmed for Hilton’s latest reality series “Paris In Love,” continues.
“Very quickly thereafter I couldn’t imagine my life without you,” Reum says. “I’m hoping you’re going to hold my hand, keep my heart close for the rest of our lives for the good days and the bad days.”
“So Paris,” he said before pausing briefly to pull out a custom emerald-cut diamond engagement ring. “Will you marry me, Paris?”
“Yes,” she responds before leaning down to kiss her hubby-to-be. “I love you.”
