Nana Agyei Kokoo Takyifiri Beyeeman I, the Paramount Chief of Tuobodom Traditional area has appealed the Headmaster and the entire Staff of the local Senior High and Technical School to unite and give off their best to ensure quality teaching and learning in the school.
He said that is the only way to convince parents to send their wards to the school and help its growth.
The Paramount chief gave an audience to management of the school at his palace where he was briefed on the challenges the school is facing.
The deliberations bordered on the security, indiscipline on the part of some students, unity among the Staff and infrastructural deficits. The chief declared the support of Nananom to the school and appealed to the teachers to do their best to promote high standards of education and thus put the interest of the school first both in quality teaching, learning and social outlook of the school.
He stressed the need for the school to be made attractive as one great school in the Bono East Region and Ghana as a whole to champion moulding the lives of children from the locality who would in turn contribute to the development of the area once they have been adequately prepared at the school for life after school towards nation building.
Nana Agyei Kokoo Takyifiri Beyeeman I commended the headmaster and his staff on the school’s achievement of moving from Category C to B, which points to a marked improvement in the school’s performance in the WASSCE Exams since 2017.
The headmaster, Mr. Charles Agyapong on behalf of the school and staff thanked Nana Agyei Kokoo Takyifiri Beyeeman and his elders for the conference.
He assured the Omanhene to discharge their duties effectively to maintain high standards in the school to the admiration of all stakeholders.
Headmaster Agyapong was accompanied to the chief’s palace by Dr. Inusah Wudah, Assistant Headmaster (Domestic); Mr. Francis Adjei, Senior House Master; Mr. Bismarck Addai, Resident House Master and Madam Esther Ayeah, Resident House Mistress.
