His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will be among monarchs and leaders from across the globe to attend the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort.
The participation of the Ashanti King, who will be accompanied by his wife, Lady Julia, for the ceremony is at the invitation of the King of England, a statement issued by Manhyia Palace and signed by Mr. Kofi Badu, Chief of Staff, has indicated.
The Royal couple will be received by King Charles III in private audience at Buckingham Palace on May 4, 2023.
They will also attend the official reception of King Charles III for overseas guests on May 5, 2023, before the coronation on May 6, 2023, which coincides with the 73rd Birthday of the Ashanti King.
