The independent parliamentary aspirant for Obuasi West Constituency in the Ashanti region, Odeneho Kofi Appianin Ennin, has stated that come December 7, 2024 he would be declared winner of the parliamentary election at the constituency.
“I am on the ground and doing the needful. The constituents have accepted my policies wholeheartedly, and for that matter, I am hopeful of winning the seat,” he declared.
Odeneho Appianin Ennin said this in an exclusive interview with The Chronicle, after he had donated 1,000 blocks, sand and stones worth GHc35,000.00 and GHc10,000.00 cash to the people of Adaase, in the Kunka Electoral Area, in the Obuasi West Constituency.
The donation was to help the people complete the construction of a community centre initiated by the residents.
The aspirant pledged to provide the people with Low-Tension Electricity poles for the extension of power to other parts of the town.
The independent parliamentary aspirant intimated that the constituents have shown appreciation to him on several platforms for what he has done to improve their standard of living and will vote massively for him.
On behalf of the Adaase community, the assemblyman for Kunka Electoral Area, Mr. Stephen Osei, who received the donation, expressed gratitude to Odeneho Appianin Ennin.
He said for his generosity to the people in the constituency, by way of interest-free loans, as well as making donations of television sets to various ‘parliaments’ in Obuasi, the constituents will not deny him their votes.
Nana Kwadwo Amoa and Nana Akosua Nyarko, Odikro, and the Obaapanin of Adaase respectfully pledged the community’s support for the independent parliamentary hopeful’s bid and also thanked him for the donation.
Mr. Kwaku Kwarteng, Madam Roselove Appiah Kannin and Odeneho Kofi Appianin Ennin are billed to contest the Obuasi West parliamentary election on December 7, 2024.
