NSS Deputy Executive Director donates to Jinijini Police Station

The Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Mr. Kwaku Ohene Gyan, has donated a number of office tables and chairs with a first aid box to the Jinijini police station to support the station in their operations.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, spokesman for Mr OheneGyan, Kwasi Badu explained that they requested from the police station materials they may need to help in their operations.

The police responded that the station lacked office furniture among, hence Mr Ohene Gyan’s decision to donate the items

He said Mr. Gyan’s donation has come at a time when the police need them most to help them deliver their service smoothly.

The items included twelve plastic chairs, two office swinging chairs, two office tables and a first aid box to boast the work of the police service and the security operation in the Berekum West District.

The Berekum District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Andrews Kofi Okonongye who received the items on behalf of the police commended Mr Ohene Gyan for his support in stocking the Jinijini police station with tables and chairs since they have been waiting for such a kind gesture.

He therefore called on other citizens to emulate the example of Mr. Ohene Gyan and promised that the items donated will be used for their intended purposes.
