The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 service year, deploying a total of 85,159 graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across Ghana to various public and private organizations.

In a statement issued by the NSA Head Office in Accra and signed by Ruth Dela Seddoh, Director-General of the Authority, the deployment marks the beginning of this year’s national service arrangements, which form part of efforts to promote youth participation in national development.

According to the release, the figure excludes personnel with data mismatches, as well as categories such as teachers, nurses, midwives, and other specialized groups whose placements are still under review. The Authority clarified that these groups will be included in subsequent batches, noting that the total number of postings is expected to rise once all outstanding issues are resolved.

The NSA outlined the current deployment statistics as follows:

  • Total Students Uploaded – 150,937
  • Total Paid Pin Codes – 91,339
  • Total Verified (with Ghana Card only) – 85,459
  • Total Number of Personnel Completed Registration – 85,159

The Authority urged the public to appreciate the technical and procedural steps involved in the posting process, emphasizing that the exercise undergoes rigorous verification and validation stages to ensure accuracy and fairness.

As part of the process, all prospective service personnel are required to:

  1. Check their placements by logging onto the official NSA website, gnsa.gov.gh.
  2. Print their appointment letters and visit their respective places of posting for endorsement by their line managers or designated officials.
  3. Book an appointment for online registration, indicating their preferred date and time before the stipulated deadline.
  4. Complete the registration exercise by visiting the designated regional validation and registration centers with their endorsed appointment letters and Ghana Cards.

The NSA further announced that regional validation and registration will commence on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and close on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Management cautioned prospective personnel against engaging the services of fraudsters or middlemen who promise to alter postings for a fee, stressing that the Authority does not collaborate with any such individuals or groups in its deployment process.

“Personnel are highly entreated to accept their postings,” the statement said, warning that any attempt to manipulate placements through unofficial channels would not be tolerated.

The Authority also confirmed that the 2025/26 national service officially begins on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Management congratulated all deployed graduates and encouraged them to embrace the opportunity to contribute to national development, describing their roles as crucial in “resetting Ghana’s socio-economic space.”
