Nations FC and Asante Kotoko played out a goalless draw in their Premier League Matchday 5 encounter at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday, in what proved to be an entertaining but evenly contested fixture.
Both sides created chances in an engaging display of attacking football, but neither could find a breakthrough as the points were shared.
The hosts came into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Medeama SC in Tarkwa last weekend, their second loss of the campaign.
With only five points from five matches (W1, D2, L2), Nations FC have endured one of their slowest starts since joining the top flight in 2023.
They currently sit in the bottom half of the table, having scored three goals and conceded four.
Despite their mixed start, Nations FC have maintained an impressive record against the Porcupine Warriors, remaining unbeaten in their last three home meetings (W1, D2) while keeping three clean sheets in the last four league encounters between the sides.
Asante Kotoko remain one of just four unbeaten teams in the league this season, as they continue to build momentum under their new campaign.
