At the rally, Dr. Opoku Prempeh asked the crowd to endorse Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by voting for the NPP in the next elections, as well as his brother, Nana Agyemang Prempeh, as the best candidate to lead the constituency in Parliament.

The current MP, Suleman Adamu Sanid, who is bowing out, praised and supported his successor, Nana Agyemang, based on his humility and intelligence, in line with the NPP’s teachings.

Nana Agyemang appreciated the outgoing MP’s kind endorsement and also acknowledged his good works of rural electrification, among others.

ENGAGEMENT

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh used the opportunity of his presence in the Ahafo Ano North constituency to engage with stakeholders in the district at the Tepa Manhene’s palace. The gathering included chiefs, the local council of churches, the council of Imams, the Apagyafie Stool Lands and others.

The Tepahene, Nana Atwenewaa Ampem II, extolled the long-lasting relationship with Dr. Prempeh’s family and affirmed the significant developments in the municipality, due to Dr. Agyemang’s intervention and support.

Dr. Prempeh and his team also visited Tepa Senior High School, where he inspected a library being constructed by the candidate. He discussed the Free SHS policy, highlighting its benefits, including the increase in enrolment.

NPP RECORD

In his remarks, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said that the NPP has better records in political office than the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The NPP running mate urged the electorates to vote for Dr. Bawumia, the NPP presidential candidate, to sustain the gains achieved so far.

Addressing the chiefs and people of Tepa Traditional Area, he assured that Dr. Bawumia’s government will continue President Nana Akufo-Addo’s good works.

He, therefore, advised the electorates to compare the NPP and NDC works in government and cast their ballot for the NPP, which clearly has superior records in government.

“The NPP has better records in government than the NDC. The NPP introduced free SHS, nursing training allowance and stopped intermittent power cuts (Dumsor) among others.

“We have also constructed roads, built schools and worked assiduously to ensure massive transformation in all sectors in the state, so we deserve another term,” he said.

According to him, the alternative (the NDC) failed woefully to perform in government, so they were voted out of political office, stressing that the NDC is not an option now.

“Compare NPP and NDC records and vote massively for Dr. Bawumia and all the NPP parliamentary candidates on December 7,” Napo appealed to the electorates.

With the vice president’s team were Mr. Danquah Smith, 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye, Madam Maame Tima, Dr. Quarm, and Mr. Raphael Safo, among others.
