The Divine Key Believers Network (DKBN), in conjunction with Petrus Fedei Seminary of the United States of America (USA), has conferred Honourary Doctorate degrees in Divinity on Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I, Chief of Kunsu, and his wife, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, at a colourful ceremony at Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.
The occasion was also used to honour 40 other personalities, including members of parliament (MPs), District Chief Executives (DCEs), Maame Efe Amannor of Nhyira FM, Hiahene, and sub chiefs of Nana Dr. Agyeman Badu Duah.
Archbishop Dr. Prince Hampbell, who conferred the awards on the couple, encouraged people to give off their best in everything they do, because society would definitely recognise diligent work to society, pointing to the role of Nana Agyeman Badu Duah and Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu.
He hoped the recognition accorded them would spur them on to do more for their people, and community and the country as a whole.
The Kunsuhene, now Nana Dr. Agyeman Badu Duah, thanked the non-governmental organisation (NGO), “Divine Key Believers Network, and Petruz Fedei Seminary of USA for the honour done them.
He also thanked the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehemaa, Nana Ama Konadu Yiadom III, the Hiahene, as well as well wishers for their support.
The awards ceremony also coincided with a fundraising ceremony in aid of an ICT Center for the Kunsu community.
