As part of her 45th birthday celebration, renowned Ghanaian Actress and television host, Nana Ama McBrown will be registering 1000 people onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
This, she said will be done through her McBrown Foundation, a not for profit organization based in Ghana.
In a post on her social media pages, Nana Ama revealed that the beneficiaries of the free health registration will be categorized into two; 700 children will benefit while the remaining 300 slots will be for adults.
The enrollment will be done at the Kwadaso-Ohwimase MA School Park in Kumasi, where she grew up.
Nana Ama McBrown called on parents and guardians to be available on Sunday, 14th August 2022 for the enrollment.
Officially known as Felicity Ama Agyemang, Nana Ama McBrown is a Ghanaian actress, TV presenter and a music writer.
She rose to fame for her role in television series ‘Tentacles.’ Later, she found mainstream success following her role in the Twi-language movie ‘Asoreba’ and ‘Kumasi Yonko.’
She currently hosts a television cooking show ‘McBrown Kitchen’ and entertainment talk show ‘United Showbiz’ on UTV.
