The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, cast his vote at the party headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra, a while ago, in a bid to lead the New Patriotic Party to the 2024 presidential election.
He was accompanied by the 2nd Lady, Samira Bawumia, but she did not vote because she is not a delegate.
The media bumped on the Vice President after he had dropped his ballot in the transparent box and asked about his chances of winning the flagbearer slot of the NPP.
Speaking in Twi, he said he would not want to “predict”, adding that “everything is in the hands of God.
