Students and Teachers at Oti Senior High Technical School, in Dambai, can finally breathe a sigh of relief, following the completion of a mechanised borehole project. The project brings an end to the school’s perennial water shortage struggles.
Mr. Nelson Kofi Djabab, the Member of Parliament for Krachi East, completed the project. He said the completion of the borehole project was a fulfillment of a promise to the students and school management during his campaign.
This gesture will significantly improve the learning environment and overall well-being of the students and teachers.
Students had previously struggled with water scarcity, waking up early to join long queues to fetch water at nearby fuel stations.
This often left them tired and unable to concentrate in class and with the borehole now operational, students could focus on their academic pursuits without the burden of water scarcity.
