The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has donated assorted food items to Muslim community in the constituency to support the Ramadan fast.
The food items are 100 bags of rice at Kamgbunli and its environs and another 100 bags of rice to Muslims in other parts of the District plus 20 bags of sugar.
Presenting the items at a short ceremony at the District Mosque at Kamgbunli, Armah Kofi Buah, who is also the Deputy Minority Leader assured the Muslims that each mosque in the District would get its share of the food items for onward distribution to every Muslim faithful.
This is not the first time the MP has supported the Muslim community in his constituency during the Holy month of Ramadan.

District Chief Imam for Ellembelle, Kwasi Buah, who received the donation on behalf of the Muslim Community, expressed gratitude to the MP for the gesture.
He noted that this is not the first time the MP had come to their aid and hoped the gesture would continue.
The District Chief Imam also noted that Ghana is a religious nation where God is held at the centre of national affairs. He, therefore, indicated that the passage of the anti LGBTQ + was in the right direction applauding Parliament and the Speaker for the passage.
Chief Imam Kwasi Buah, however, asked the Muslim community to remember the president in their prayers, during the Holy Ramadan for him to assent to the Gay Bill.
The Odikro of Kamgbunli, Abeka Mussah, on his part said those who want to practice homosexuality and lesbianism should remember the punishment God visited on those who practiced it during the biblical days.
