The Mim Man Kuo, made up of citizens of Ahafo Mim in the Ahafo Region, who are now living in Tema, Accra and abroad, has donated 600 pieces of mathematical sets to public schools in Ahafo Mim in the Asunafo North Municipality.
The donation is a significant contribution to the students participating in the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The sets would provide the candidates with the necessary tools to effectively tackle the mathematics section of the examinations.
The group’s initiative reflects their commitment to improving access to quality education and supporting the educational needs of students in the Asunafo North Municipality.
The Organiser of the group, Mr. Evans Kyei, highlighted the importance of the donation, and also took the opportunity to advise the candidates against engaging in examination malpractices.
He emphasised the significance of following the rules and regulations associated with the examination, promoting integrity and fairness.
Mr. Seidu Alhassan, Circuit Supervisor B, expressed gratitude to “Mim Man Kuo” for its benevolence and encouraged the members to continue their philanthropic gestures.

The Gyaasehene of Mim, Nana Agyapong Beedu Brobbey, acknowledged the essential role of mathematical sets in the examination, and commended the group for recognising this need.
He underscored the importance of mathematics skills in the students’ academic journey and future prospects. “The donation of the mathematical sets will undoubtedly aid the candidates in their preparation and enable them to perform to the best of their abilities,” he said.
