Bibiani Goldstars FC were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Medeama SC in their match-week seven encounter on Wednesday afternoon. The Yellow and Mauves lads commenced the fixture on a good note as they staged an intense pressure on the back line of Bibiani Goldstars to open the score in the early minutes of the game.
Veteran midfielder Kwesi Donsu brilliantly opened the score for Medeama SC on the 13th minute of the game.
Bibiani Goldstars warmed themselves into the fixture to snatch the leveller before the break through Ibrahim Laar. Laar registered his third goal of the season for Bibiani Goldstars after connecting a free-kick effected by Prince Owusu Kwabena on the 38th minute of the game.
The first half of the game ended in one-all draw at the Bibiani Duns’Park. In the second half, the game looked more balanced as the two teams possessed the ball in the middle of the turf with few chances created. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
