The Scotland based young attacker is highly optimistic of receiving an invitation to play for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana youth international Matthew Anim-Cudjoe is confident of earning a Black Stars call-up for the next edition of the FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be staged in Qatar from November to December 2022.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder, who currently plies his trade in Scotland with Dundee United, believes Otto Addo and his technical team will be offering him an opportunity to showcase his skills on the biggest stage in world football.
“Yes of course [I’ll be called for World Cup]. We [Dundee United] qualified for the Europa League so I’ll be part of the squad,” Anim-Cudjoe told TV3 in an exclusive interview
“I’m in Ghana training very hard so I have confidence that the Black Stars will call me for the World Cup. I believe in myself so there is no problem. The pitch will decide,
“I want to be part of this team [Black Stars] for the World Cup in November. That’s my dream for now so I’m working hard to get there,” he added.
He was signed by Scottish Premier League side Dundee United in November 2021 and made his debut in April this year against Hibernian FC.
