The Member of Parliament for (MP) Manhyia North Constituency, Akwasi Konadu, has donated GH¢23,000 to the Kumasi Airport District Police Station towards the purchase of an engine and reconditioning of a Navara pickup truck for patrols.
The gesture was to facilitate operations and patrols to improve on security in the communities within the Manhyia North Constituency.
He has also donated an amount of GH¢20,000 to the Buokrom Estate Youth Development Committee to beef up security in the locality.
The MP has also donated 50 tablets, a laptop, computer, projector content access point and charging cabinet to the Wesley College Demonstration Cluster of Schools through the National Digital Literacy project.
The St. Hubert R/C Primary School at Duase also received a donation of GH¢10,000 towards infrastructure development of the school.
